Long time...no see!

Oh my goodness! I haven't blogged in about...a year? Wow! Well...maybe not that long--but it seems like that! I have been very busy. Grammy has seen it fit to give me A LOT of school lately, so you can guess where I've been--my desk. I have one exciting announcement, however. My writer, Esther, might be going to Mount Hermon's Christian Writer's Conference again this year, so she might be able to get my first book, Capture of the Bible Bandits, published. She went last year and tried to get it published (without much success) but this year she knows what she's doing more and she is feeling very confident! Well...I'll write again when I find the time...

Hi :(

Dear Readers,
I’m sorry that I haven’t written in a while. The last time I wrote, I was in Hawaii. Now, I’m back home. I guess I feel a little depressed… I mean, I was in paradise for a week, and now I’m back at…well…home. I guess I do have a lot to be thankful for. I mean, I live with the most interesting person in the world… my very own Grammy! Yesterday, my friend Samantha came to visit. I gave her the gift I bought her… a plastic, blow up slip-n-slide—complete with foot-long palm trees squirting out water along the sides and a little splash pool at the end. She was absolutely thrilled. We played on it for nearly three hours, and then she invited me for a sleepover, where I am now. We watched the new movie last night, “Voyage of the Dawn Treader” since it just came out on DVD and her parents got it on Netflix. It was really cool. Grammy spent dinner with us over there, but then she went home. She brought her apple cobbler. Boy, you haven’t even TASTED apple cobbler until you’ve tried hers!! Well, anyway, I’m blogging on Samantha’s laptop. It’s really cute—a pink notebook. I want one of those, but Grammy is sooo old fashioned, so I must be content with one of those honkin ones that looks as if it could serve as a speaker at a band. Well, I guess I have a lot to be thankful for—friends, family, and apple cobbler!

Sincerely,
Georgina

I'm in Hawaii!!!

Dearest Readers,

Aloha! Grammy and I had a delivery to make in Japan (oops, sorry, not supposed to say that) and the missionary board paid for us to have a full WEEK in Hawaii on our way back!!!!!!!! Grammy and I have been such a help to them, they said, that they wanted to show us a token of their appreciation. They are absolutely blessing our socks off! I have not blogged much, but I just found out this morning that our hotel (which is right on the ocean in Maui) has a computer, so now I am blogging! Oh, by the way, if you are on the missionary board, thanks sooooo much from me and Grammy!!!!!!!!!! Our beautiful hotel has a lovely pool complete with a water slide and a huge breakfast buffet in the mornings. For lunch, Grammy and I have the cook make us a to-go picnic and we take it down to the ocean. For dinner, we explore the variety of restaurants in the area. Our days here are filled with swimming in the crystal clear waters, snorkling, surfing (I bet you didn't know we surfed, did you?), fishing on the pier, swimming at the hotel pool, walking on the streets in town barefoot, sewing flower wreaths, etc. We went to a luau last night and it was sooo much fun!The hotel management didn't know where to put Fred, so they sectioned off a section of their parking garage for him! Well, there's Grammy now! We are going on a dinner boat that is taking us to a place that they have dolphins in the ocean. We get to get out and swim with them, too! Bye!

Georgina

P.S. I'll blog ASAP. Oh, and I bet you also didn't know that Grammy and I now how to hula dance!

Check out my picture!

Dear Readers,

I can't write much... but I did want to show everyone a portrait that I had done at a county fair I went to last Saturday. My writer's friend, Emily Bergstrom, happened to be there drawing portraits. I had one done and she sent it to me today. Can people comment to let me know how it looks? Oh, I do hope that my braces look okay.

I Am Going To Bed

Dearest Reader,

I am going to bed, right now, believe it or not! Grammy actually convinced me to go to bed early on account of the fact that we have an adventure tomorrow that we will have to leave at 3:00 am for. I am a person who always tries to get ten hours of rest at night. If you are good at mathematics, you will have calculated that going to bed right now (3:00 pm) and waking up at 3:00 am in the morning is twelve hours of sleep. The reason I need the extra two hours is because I lost two hours of sleep because Grammy woke me up early because we had to leave on a surprise adventure. I LOVE those! And guess what? I got to skip school and my ortho appointment. I am filled with glee about that! As you can see, it wasn't a long adventure (I'll tell you this much: It was somewhere in the U.S.) so we got back on time to go to our usual Friday night burger, fries, milkshake, and movie (which we did earlier for lunch instead of dinner so that Grammy and I could get to bed). I am also filled with glee about that. A lot of times, we miss burger night, and I am not so much filled with glee. Well, good night! I guess it's not so much good night to you, but good night for me. Anyway, I need to go and brush my teeth with the new toothpaste that I got on a souvenir on our adventure. We go on so many adventures that Grammy rarely buys me a souvenir, so this is quite at treat!

Always,
Georgina

P.S.

Brush, brush, brush!

Hello for the first time!

Hello, Dearest Readers!
My name is Georgina Duffy. This is my very first time blogging on my very first blog site. The person hired to write my books for me, Esther Seim, is also working on her very first book, which is about me. So, as you can see, I’m rather a first-timer on everything right now. I hope I can do okay. Today we just got back from an adventure with Grammy. I can’t tell you what it is, or it will spoil the next book that Esther is going to write about me. Oh, and by the way, I am never going to explain my adventures over the blog. You’ll have to buy my books when Esther succeeds in publishing them. She has some exciting ideas about getting them published right now, so please pray and keep your fingers… and toes… crossed! Right now, I am very tired. We just got back from… oops… there I go again—almost telling you where I went! Grammy is giving Fred a jet-wash, and I am all alone. Ok, well, I need to go and write my pen pals. I have a lot of them, because whenever I go on an adventure with Grammy, I almost always make a new friend to keep in touch with. I’ll write later!

P.S.
The rest of my blog isn’t really built up with, so please ignore the mess!
