Hi :(

Dear Readers,
I’m sorry that I haven’t written in a while. The last time I wrote, I was in Hawaii. Now, I’m back home. I guess I feel a little depressed… I mean, I was in paradise for a week, and now I’m back at…well…home. I guess I do have a lot to be thankful for. I mean, I live with the most interesting person in the world… my very own Grammy! Yesterday, my friend Samantha came to visit. I gave her the gift I bought her… a plastic, blow up slip-n-slide—complete with foot-long palm trees squirting out water along the sides and a little splash pool at the end. She was absolutely thrilled. We played on it for nearly three hours, and then she invited me for a sleepover, where I am now. We watched the new movie last night, “Voyage of the Dawn Treader” since it just came out on DVD and her parents got it on Netflix. It was really cool. Grammy spent dinner with us over there, but then she went home. She brought her apple cobbler. Boy, you haven’t even TASTED apple cobbler until you’ve tried hers!! Well, anyway, I’m blogging on Samantha’s laptop. It’s really cute—a pink notebook. I want one of those, but Grammy is sooo old fashioned, so I must be content with one of those honkin ones that looks as if it could serve as a speaker at a band. Well, I guess I have a lot to be thankful for—friends, family, and apple cobbler!

Sincerely,
Georgina

I'm in Hawaii!!!

Dearest Readers,

Aloha! Grammy and I had a delivery to make in Japan (oops, sorry, not supposed to say that) and the missionary board paid for us to have a full WEEK in Hawaii on our way back!!!!!!!! Grammy and I have been such a help to them, they said, that they wanted to show us a token of their appreciation. They are absolutely blessing our socks off! I have not blogged much, but I just found out this morning that our hotel (which is right on the ocean in Maui) has a computer, so now I am blogging! Oh, by the way, if you are on the missionary board, thanks sooooo much from me and Grammy!!!!!!!!!! Our beautiful hotel has a lovely pool complete with a water slide and a huge breakfast buffet in the mornings. For lunch, Grammy and I have the cook make us a to-go picnic and we take it down to the ocean. For dinner, we explore the variety of restaurants in the area. Our days here are filled with swimming in the crystal clear waters, snorkling, surfing (I bet you didn't know we surfed, did you?), fishing on the pier, swimming at the hotel pool, walking on the streets in town barefoot, sewing flower wreaths, etc. We went to a luau last night and it was sooo much fun!The hotel management didn't know where to put Fred, so they sectioned off a section of their parking garage for him! Well, there's Grammy now! We are going on a dinner boat that is taking us to a place that they have dolphins in the ocean. We get to get out and swim with them, too! Bye!

Georgina

P.S. I'll blog ASAP. Oh, and I bet you also didn't know that Grammy and I now how to hula dance!

Check out my picture!

Dear Readers,

I can't write much... but I did want to show everyone a portrait that I had done at a county fair I went to last Saturday. My writer's friend, Emily Bergstrom, happened to be there drawing portraits. I had one done and she sent it to me today. Can people comment to let me know how it looks? Oh, I do hope that my braces look okay.
